Shandur Pass is a pass located in between Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Shandur is a flat plateau and can be crossed between late April and early November. The Shandur Polo Festival is held in July every year for polo matches between the teams of Chitral District and Gilgit-Baltistan Province.
Shandur Polo Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Pakistan. Every year, Shandur invites visitors to experience a traditional polo tournament between the teams of Chitral and Gilgit from 7 to 9 July the festival also includes folk music, folk dance, traditional sports and a camping village is set up on the pass
